For youth, high school, college, and adult athletes

One mistake shouldn’t take over the game.Give athletes a next action.

When an athlete spirals after an error, loses focus, or chases only the scoreboard, Goal Tablet brings attention back to a goal they can control. Write it. Use it. Review it.

White Goal Tablet with dry-erase goal areas, mirror, marker, and customizable team logo area

Visible and reusable

At practice or at home.

The routine

Three moments. One repeatable habit.

Short enough to use before practice, during a game, or at home. Clear enough for the athlete to own.

01

Write It

Choose one specific action the athlete can control before practice or competition.

02

Do It

Use the written goal as a cue during play—especially when attention drifts.

03

Review It

Take 60 seconds to identify what worked, what to repeat, and one adjustment.

Experience behind the routine

Used with athletes across levels.

Earlier versions of Goal Tablet have been used with youth sports teams and NCAA Division I athletes. Today’s offer brings the same visible goal-setting idea to teams and families.

For a team

A routine coaches can actually repeat.

Start with one tablet per athlete. Try the routine for four weeks, at least twice a week, with one five-minute team huddle each week. That schedule is a suggestion, not a purchase commitment.

Simple team math

The standard price is $50 per tablet. A 12-athlete team would be $600 before any volume discount, shipping, or applicable tax. Discounts are available for teams and organizations depending on quantity and requested customizations. There is no required subscription.

A suggested team start

  • One reusable Goal Tablet per athlete
  • Coach playbook and four weekly prompt cards
  • Athlete quick-start and parent guide
  • A four-week routine your team can run together

The physical product

A visible cue athletes can use every day.

Mount it at home, in a locker, or in a team space. Dry-erase fields keep the athlete’s current goal in view, while the built-in mirror gives them a place to state it, reset to it, and reflect on it.

A filled-in example

My goal

Call for the ball every possession.

Review it

Did I speak up? What cue will help me do it on the next play?

Why the mirror matters

Make the goal personal—and usable.

The mirror connects the words on the board to the athlete who will carry them into the next practice, play, or performance. It creates a natural pause: look up, say the action, and decide what comes next.

Before

Look in the mirror and say the controllable goal out loud: “I will call for the ball every possession.”

Reset

When focus slips, return to the same short phrase. It gives the athlete a next-play action instead of another thought about the last play.

After

Return to the mirror and answer: Did I do it? What worked? What will I repeat or adjust next time?

Built for development

Coach the action—not the scoreboard.

Goal Tablet shifts the conversation toward behaviors athletes can choose, notice, and repeat.

Clear goals

Athletes learn to separate controllable actions from desired outcomes.

Visible cues

The board keeps one useful action present without adding another app.

Better resets

Athletes choose a simple next-play response before emotions run high.

Useful reflection

The review turns each performance into information for the next one.

A note from the founder

Why I built this

I’m Devin Collins, founder of Brain Fitness Coach in Charlotte, North Carolina. I first developed Goal Tablet for athletic teams because I wanted goals to be something athletes could use during the week, not just something they talked about once.

It is easy to tell an athlete to “stay focused.” It is harder to help them choose what to focus on after a mistake, in a close game, or when the scoreboard pulls their attention away from the next play. A visible, written goal gives them a cue to return to.

The routine is simple: write one action you can control, use it during practice or competition, then review what happened. Coaches can reinforce it as a team language. Parents can use the board at home to ask a more useful question than “Did you win?”

Earlier versions have been used with youth teams and Division I athletes. I’m bringing the idea forward as a practical tool for more athletes, teams, and families.

For girls’ and women’s teams

Confidence you can practice together.

A mistake, comparison, or pressure to be perfect can pull attention from the next play. Give every athlete a visible action she can choose, use, and review.

Confidence

Build from preparation and repeatable actions rather than a perfect game.

Belonging

Give the team a shared way to notice effort and support the next play.

Voice

Let each athlete name her own goal and say what support she needs.

Questions before ordering

Straight answers before you start.

Is this a motivational poster or a training program?+

It is a reusable board and a simple routine. The board makes the athlete’s chosen action visible; the value comes from repeating Write It, Do It, and Review It.

Does Goal Tablet promise better statistics or more wins?+

No. It offers a practical way to choose an action, return to it during play, and reflect afterward. Results vary by athlete and team.

How much coach time does it take?+

The suggested four-week team routine uses about two minutes before and after an activity, plus one five-minute huddle each week. The board also works on its own at home.

Which sports can use it?+

Any sport in which athletes can choose a controllable action, use a performance cue, and reflect after play. Examples include baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf, and lacrosse.

What is the mirror for?+

The mirror turns a written goal into a brief, personal routine. The athlete looks at themselves, says the controllable action out loud, uses it as a next-play cue, and returns afterward to review what to repeat or adjust.

How does ordering work?+

The standard price is $50 per tablet. Discounts are available for teams and organizations based on order quantity and requested customizations. Submit the quantity you want, and we’ll confirm product pricing, shipping, and any applicable tax before sending an invoice. No payment is taken on this website.

Is there a subscription or required pilot fee?+

The tablet order has no recurring charge. A four-week team routine is suggested, not a required subscription. Custom coaching, software, and larger team packages are quoted separately.
